Tradition because one new robe de style is always born in a jealous secret and of the protection of vigourous cannons. Nature because it is all about women, and elegant women, and in fine about beauty which is happiness. Elegance is the concern of all the women; tacitly, a chasse gardée. Everything is important about elegance. The button is important, and the shoe is important. Earrings too. Harmony of colours and fabrics are musts. Couture is about culture. @Lanvinofficial is about couture. Lanvin is about culture. @OlivierLapidus has spoken about the ambition of making the house of Madame Lanvin, the #French @MichaelKors. Faux pas de communication? or Disruption? We vouch for the former hopefully because this is a house that inspired #MichaelKors, not the other way around. #MaisonLanvin's demure and youthful couture has to be great, but its branding has to be even the ever better. You can’t knock off a maison. You can’t knock off a heritage. You can buy generic soap, but you won’t get @Dove's story of female empowerment. Branding has to sink in, and it has to hit the right place. Jeanne Lanvin always cherished the logo and the lightness of her daywear since 1889. That’s what will make #Lanvin, indispensable, relevant, not benchmarking a worldwide commercial strategy of a respectable brand founded in America in 1981. 92 years of vocabulary differences matter.
