Wowowow! Thanks @JennyMikakos for increased funding to keep young Australians making media and having their voices heard!
For #GetToKnowTheHubs today we’re saying hello to Dylan in Fitzroy Crossing. As much as Fitzroy Crossing sounds like it could be a hip new cafe in Melbourne’s north side, it’s actually a regional community in the Kimberley region of Western Australia 4,600km away from Melbourne. Fitzroy Crossing has a population of just over 1,000 people and one of those 1,000 people is Dylan Storer, host of Envirence Radio Show, a show all about the environment. Young people, eh? They're pretty good! Dylan broadcasts out of Wangki Radio and his show can be heard on SYN Nation on a Thursday afternoon (e.g TODAY) at 3pm AEST.
If you've ever volunteered at SYN you'll remember what it was like finding a pair of headphones that work. Your small donation will go a long way in allowing young people to continue to have a voice (and hear it too). Donate via https://www.givenow.com.au/synEOFY2017 before June 30. All donations are tax deductible.
