Look, 10 years at any company let alone the first one you work for out of college, is a long time. But 10 years at the same media company… on the same radio station? That’s practically an eternity. Count me as eternally grateful for the past decade. Today, August 1, marks my 10 year anniversary at Cumulus Media and the 10th year of my show airing on 97.1/95.7 BHT. Time has flown by and I’m still having just as much, if not more fun than when I started. I’ve always dreamt (and continue to dream) big, but the 22 year-old that was leaving Syracuse University couldn’t have imagined how these past 10 years would play out. I won’t reminisce too much today; I’m not one for dwelling on the past and I have a show tonight (Julia Michaels joins me in-studio). But I’d like to share two moments; one now and another later. The first is from October 2009. It’s an interview recorded inside The Marketplace at Steamtown with a then relatively-unknown 15 year-old named… Justin Bieber.
