a little late in the day, but #fbf to our sophomore album The Fire In Our Throats, which turned 10 years old this past Sunday. we were on tour when it came out and overnight our lives changed. I distinctly remember playing Knitting Factory in NYC the day after the album was released to a sold out crowd that was more than twice as large and twice as enthused as any of our previous trips there. it suddenly became clear that this thing we'd built had become bigger than ourselves, that it had its own momentum and that it would carry us beyond anything we'd previously conceived. thank you all so much for being a part of this beautiful journey - we love you very much.
happy 25th birthday to one of the most perfect albums ever made ????????????????
