New Guidelines from the AAP for ALL kids, not just babies -- No fruit juice in the first year of life (not even 100% fruit juice) 1-3 year olds: 4 ounces MAX 4-6 year olds: 6 ounces MAX 8-12 year olds: 8 ounces MAX This is a decrease from previous recommendations... My son has been cooking since he was 3 or 4 years. From cracking an egg to making pancake batter and flipping those flapjacks ...to tonight taking on steaks in a cast iron pan...this guy has no fear and has learned how to figure it out as he goes...anyone out there on the path to raising a confident cook?
