Friends, some pretty exciting news on my side: after thinking through this for a while, I decided to leave the games industry (long story short: my passion for games isn't what it used to be and I don't particularly enjoy the industry as a whole anymore), assembled a great team and I'm finally starting my own venture, a fashion m-commerce company. We believe that mobile commerce hasn't lived up to its potential yet, as most experiences are akin to browsing through a catalogue and don't engage users every day, multiple times per day, and we want to change that. Our goal is to make discovering and shopping for fashion and accessories on your mobile phone truly fun and social, and we have some cool ideas in that respect. We're currently in stealth mode and plan to launch a first iteration of our product in Q2 2015. In the meantime, you can sign up to be informed when we launch, at www.finale.nyc While I'm leaving games, I'll still be involved with Tilting Point as an advisor, and in particular will still look for great games in advanced stage of development for publishing opportunities. On the strength of the success of Leo's Fortune in 2014, the company is really well positioned, has an incredibly strong team and an amazing pipeline for 2015. So, I'm really excited to be still involved there too Naturally, I will also keep investing in and advising startups (portfolio info at www.angel.co/giordanobc) with a primary focus on consumer tech and mobile. So, a busy year, looks like. Really excited about diving headfirst into a new adventure, and hope to talk to all of you soon. Here's to a great 2015!
