Driving down I-89, I realized I forgot my wallet. "What a waste of time," I groaned. But then I thought that perhaps, because of my mistake, I'd avoid something unpleasant I'd otherwise encounter or something positive would happen on my return. As I sat at the light to get back onto the highway in the other direction, I chastised myself for thinking my idiocy was a scheme in a grand, universal plan. But as I drove back onto the highway a bald eagle flew past me, one of the only two in the area. "Well, there's that," I thought. So during this time of stress, bulk baking and manic shopping, take some time to remember that magic is everywhere, we just have to make room for it.
