We would like to say a huge thank you to all the local traders that have taken time out of their busy schedules to come and support the work of BBC One DIY SOS to transform Wrockwardine Wood CE Junior School pupil Matthew Cooper's home. Matthew is very poorly with cancer and has not been able to live in his family home since his diagnosis. The Big Build team start work for 10 days on 28th February with the help of hundreds of local tradespeople to enable Matthew to return home. Here is a short film explaining what will be happening. Please help us by sharing and tagging anyone you know who is involved and pass on our thanks for their kind generosity.
DIY SOS update: Finishing touches being made to Matthew Cooper's home. "This wouldn't have happened if we didn't have such an amazing community here. They have pulled this job out of the ground. A huge thank you ... we are going to have this young man Matthew back in this house tomorrow."
