Want your name in my next novel? I've been sequestered in a Motor Home this last month, lost in a dimension that straddles two worlds bound together by the Books of History. In the crosshairs, a girl named Rachelle who lives in Polarity Utah. She's blind. Or is she? I've been plotting this saga of sagas for years, knowing the day would finally come. It has. The Circle Reborn (not the final title) isn't as much a continuation of Thomas Hunter's story as a completely new intersecting story that blows his mind along with the minds of all who live in both Earth and Other Earth. Here's to it blowing yours as well. I still have another thousand hours of writing to go, and today, I'm asking for your help. Polarity, Utah is a small town hiding terrible secrets. Some of its residents might survive the next six days. Want to be one of them? If not you, then maybe a friend who loves the Circle Trilogy... Just enter yours or a friend's name in the comments and I'll select 3 of you to immortalize. Pass it on. Dive Deep. Ted
The last novel I wrote was AD 33. I finished it 20 months ago. Yikes! The longest breather I've taken between novels in 20 years. And that breather has filled me with a whole new perspective and wild imaginations that are transporting me beyond the skin of this world. Some say the Circle is complete. Others say that the great mystery of how one can live in two worlds at once cannot be fathomed--that its secrets died with Thomas Hunter. Still others, that the gateway to that greater reality was and is only the stuff of dreams. They are wrong. All of them. Not even Thomas understands the truth behind it all. Not yet... The secret lies in the heart of a young, homely girl. But not even she knows what she knows... And the whole world wants her dead. Here we go.... Pass it on :) And please send a blessing my way as I Dive Deep.
Live by dying. Learn by unlearning. Let go of the whole world--all of it. That's what I must remember today.
Today, I'm headed to Costa Rica for a few weeks to dive deep into the formation of my next major novel and my first full on contemporary speculative thriller in years. All I can say at this time is that it's time to take a deep breath and dive into the grandaddy of rabbit holes. Remember Kevin from Three? Remember Thomas Hunter from the Circle? Yeah... I do too. They are not dead and the world is not what it seems. Don't try to figure it out because it's not what you think. Or is it? Wanna trip, baby? Wanna, wanna?
