"Curing Parkinson's disease once seemed impossible. But momentum is at last on our side. We believe without fail that cures are within reach if we dare to do more, not less. Muhammad Ali showed us what it means to have the heart of a champion. Now is our chance to honor him by finishing the fight he could not." -- Michael J. Fox & Foundation CEO Todd Sherer Link
Today, more than 30,000 runners from around the world took to the iconic streets of New England for the 120th running of the Boston Marathon. Among them was Team Fox member Michael Westphal-- a 58-year old former track star now living with Parkinson's-- whose journey back to Boston has both inspired and resonated strongly within the Team Fox community. A heartfelt congratulations to Michael and to ALL of the other Team Fox athletes who proudly ran today to help speed a cure!
