Dear America, in West Virginia there was a once in a thousand years natural disaster. Lives lost, entire cities destroyed, homes swept away, families turned upside down, and vast devastation. In the aftermath communities came together to cloth, feed, and house those left with nothing. Strangers bought water, bleach, diapers, strollers, car seats, mops, towels, and anything else to help their neighbors in need. There was no rioting. There was no mass looting. There was no fighting. There was no self entitlement attitude. Take note... Because that's how you American.
UPDATE: All supplies have been moved to Elkview Baptist Church. Please go to Elkview Baptist for supplies. Heritage Baptist is now a Red Cross Shelter. Original Post: If you've been effected by the flood and need anything for your babies, please stop by Heritage Baptist in Pinch.
