Corporate Angel Network – which arranges free transportation for cancer patients traveling to treatment centers by using the empty seats on business jets – celebrated its 50,000th patient flight last night. The milestone mission, which was conducted by NCR Corporation, involved flying Baron Yerby, 1, and his parents, home to Atlanta, GA from Teterboro Airport (TEB) following Baron’s treatment in New York. In a skillfully choreographed plan, 9 aircraft made their way through the streets of Orlando from Orlando International Airport to the Orange County Convention Center where they will be on display next week at NBAA's 2016 National Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA2016). The 9-mile journey took more than 6 hours through the night.
