Well, I got the itch pretty bad after being at CTMP for the final round of the CSBK Championship. I was approached by a good friend Marc-Olivier Labelle from Tremblant Superbike around a month ago to get me on a bike at Mont Tremblant this past week. The idea came together kind of late to find a bike for me to ride, but flights were booked late last week and Ross Millson was nice enough to lend me his Superbike for the 3 days. Another good friend of mine, Scott Cameron, lives close to Tremblant and was nice enough to come help me out with the mechanic work for the three days so thanks for that Scott! All of my Alpinestars gear from Parts Canada still fit perfect from the World Superbike season in 2012, so that was ideal! Shoei was awesome to get me a new helmet to use for the three days, and off to the track I went. Considering the last time I dragged a knee was 2012 in Portugal, I wasn't sure what to expect. Things came back really quick though! I was enjoying every minute of riding and couldn't stop smiling. It was a bonus that the bike I was borrowing had a decent base set up, and I was able to go fairly quick by the end of the 3 days without much trouble.
Waiting to find out when I can be moved. Thanks everyone for the support! Makes things easier. I'm still smiling :)
