"I had a head injury when I was 15 years old from gymnastics. It took me over three years to recover," says Samantha Lambert. "I really struggled with finding the proper resources of how to recover, and finding the right doctors, and finding the right way to communicate with my teachers about the new course load I could handle, so I really hope that I can go out and promote and share those resources with others."
As the brain heals, a new person “emerges” slowly, and this happens over many years. A person who was once the outgoing, might now be an introverted, anti-social type. A person who once averted eye contact, might now be incredibly social. As a result, what brought two people together romantically, may no longer exist. Link
