Six years ago, our family began celebrating December 23rd along with the 24th and 25th. Here’s why: Our youngest son Adam was eight when he asked, “Dad…is December 23rd called Christmas Adam?” That stopped me. I had no idea where he was going with this one. “What do you mean, buddy?” I replied. “Well,” he said, “if December 24th is Christmas Eve, and Adam came before Eve, wouldn’t that make December 23rd Christmas Adam?” “You are absolutely right,” I laughed. And December 23rd been a holiday in our home ever since! So Merry Christmas Adam to you!
