Dear @__tayjj__ 1st & foremost, I want to applaud you for getting up, putting on this gorgeous dress & going to your senior prom. People think that courage is defined by saving a life or doing something extreme like sky diving. But sometimes, just showing up to an event where lots of people will be attending & judging you for what you look like is brave. Trust me when I tell you that I know this first hand... The people who put you down for posting this photo on social media are bullies who feel entitled and have nothing better to do than to bash someone for being happy. We live in a time when society is so eager and quick to make fun of someone all for a few likes and some reposts. It's sad that it's usually done at the expense of an innocent bystander like yourself.
For that, I am sorry. I'm sorry that some idiots couldn't see the time and the effort it took to make you look glamorous. I'm sorry some bastards didn't think about how their hateful comments could affect a teenage girl and her self esteem. But most of all, I'm sorry that some ignorant trolls couldn't appreciate both your inner and outer beauty.
The reason why I'm writing you is because I want you to take this experience and flip it into a positive. Use your newfound platform to not only find peace for yourself, but to send a message to all the bullies out there that think they can continue to put other young girls like yourself down.
I say you post more photos and videos of yourself in outfits that make you happy and share them with everyone. Love the skin you're in cause it's the only one you got & it would be a shame if you spent your entire life hating it all because others don't know how to value it.
I would LOVE To send you a few pieces from my store @nofilterboutique So when you read this & you see something that you like, feel free to email me or send me a DM.
I'm all about empowering women especially the youth so let's team up and show these internet cowards how love, once again, wins.
