Could I just testify? Thursday was absolutely the scariest day of my life. I tripped in our yard and fell down, partially landing on my belly. I could barely move or get up. Nathan and I rushed to the hospital, praying and asking God for a miracle. Malachi wasn't moving and I was in great pain. We called prayer warriors all over the world, and our little man was so covered in prayer. We were all asking God to intervene. Well, we spent six hours in triage hooked up to fetal monitors, and they told us that Malachi was absolutely fine! But then they came in and said that my lab work showed that my platelets were very low. They were concerned enough that they said, "Let's just go ahead and have a baby." So we were admitted. Everything was going as they wanted it to until we actually began to push on Friday afternoon. They noticed that Malachi's heart rate kept dropping and it was causing great concern. Before we knew it, that room was full of medical personnel, and we were praying like crazy. When he finally was born, the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck! Praise God, Malachi is doing well and so am I. Our team of medical folks said that we had several major miracles in the birth of our son. Y'all, this is what I know: God is so good! When He gets involved, it does not matter how the devil tries to take you out. The thief may come to steal, kill, and destroy, but we serve the One who came to give abundant life! Thank you so much to everyone who prayed for our sweet Malachi. We love you!
I got to speak with my Nathan last night, and he was telling me that in one of the services in the Philippines, a girl who had been deaf from birth began to hear for the very first time! She was so shocked and kept saying that everything was too loud. Friend, there is nothing that Jesus can't do! Let your faith arise today! He's the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He still does the impossible!
Saying yes to Jesus will take you to the strangest of places, it will make you uncomfortable, but it's always worth it!
If you get to go to church this morning without worrying about getting in trouble for being a Christian, don't mess that up by being bored with the song choices, annoyed by the church decor, or by being offended by someone else in the room. If you have the freedom to worship, then by all means, worship Jesus! He is worthy and nothing else is worth your attention!
