Kori and I decided we need to reach out to each of you Bc you all have been very supportive of my family and have been there for me throughout my career. Our little newborn Jagger was admitted to the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) and we are now on day 8 and it doesn't look like he'll be discharged any time soon. We know though that with God and prayer that He can do miracles and heal our little man sooner! If any of you have ever had a child in the NICU you know it's a very emotional, draining, and exhausting process where you feel so helpless watching your child hurt and there's nothing you can do. So I ask that although we ask for prayers we ask that we do not receive any visitors Bc there are strict rules in regards to the NICU and we also ask that we don't have people calling or texting asking for all sorts of details or updates. It's not that we don't appreciate it Bc we do and we don't mind getting texts letting us know you are praying but we can't reply right now And when we have to constantly repeat what is going on it makes it even harder on Us. It's even more draining. We hope everyone understands and we will update on here when we can or when there are any positive changes. Thank you all and I know God is good all the time and all the time God is good!
Quick update on joshs wreck today: It's Kori Peek, Josh's wife.I guess people saw his wreck on live stream so they've been concerned. He has a LOT of missed calls and texts which he can't reply to right now. During his TD run his rope broke which caused him to jerk forward and get his foot stuck in the stirrup. He then did a complete flip landing HARD onto the ground on his back and neck. When he wasn't getting up I thought "don't tell me he broke his back?!" BUT, after awhile he was slowly helped up and out of the arena (he refused to be put on a back board which is typical Josh lol) He's still currently being treated by Justin sports medicine and an orthopedic surgeon was coming in and going to help him out too. They've been AWESOME and although we don't really know about upcoming rodeos, we know that he's super sore but is slowly walking. It definitely could've been a lot worse and we again thank everyone for prayers! We still could use them Bc it's the end of the year and he wants to be able to compete....SO bad! Thank u all again for showing Josh how much you all care!

I am very excited and want to tell you all FIRST that I've made the 2016 National Finals Rodeo in the steer wrestling! Normally I wouldn't post something like this but I can't thank God enough for giving me such a healthy season and I want others to know ALWAYS keep with your dreams and Gods path no matter the obstacles! Every year for the past 5 years I either got hurt where I would then miss too many rodeos and have to try and play catch up or my horses would get hurt. This year that didn't happen (except this past weeks injury but I'd already passed the mark). Sometimes it was so frustrating and I questioned where I should be and should I continue to rodeo? I want to thank all of you for being such terrific fans during the ups but mostly the downs. I am excited to have taken all of you along this journey with me these past few years and to continue this rodeo journey to the NFR '16. It's hard not knowing what God has in store when year after year little things or even people keep you from fulfilling your ultimate dreams but I will continue to trust Him in all ways and all things. Thankfully I prayed and fought through these tough years and continued to go His way and here we are! Thank you Boulder Energy, Knukle Energy, Cactus Ropes, Bayou West Saddle Pads, Oxy-Gen Inc., Nutrena Horse Feed for being there for me, my horses and my family. You all are truly the best partners a cowboy can have on his team!!! #teampeek
