“From the boys in green to the boys in green, give them hell! We will be watching from the Golan Heights”. #COYBIG from the Force Reserve Company, 52 Infantry Group UNDOF.
The 52nd Inf Gp are currently in the midst of serving a 6 month tour of duty overseas. They are busy acting as Force Reserve Company, carrying out their duties which includes providing the Quick Reaction Force (QRF) for UNDOF and manning UN P80. This is a demanding and challenging mission, however the men and women of the 52nd Inf Gp are well settled into their tour of duty and remain focused on the task at hand.
With that level of responsibility there has to be some down time and that will include supporting the Irish Soccer Team in their bid for glory in the Euros.
The 52nd Inf Gp are very much looking forward to watching the matches and seeing the Irish Soccer Team succeed.
Happy scenes at Dublin Airport last night as the final 100 members of the 50th Infantry Group were welcomed home by family & friends having completed their 6 month deployment to the Golan Heights.
Welcome home to all and congratulations on a job well done!
