I’M MAD AS HECK ON THIS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!
No, I’m certainly not mad at the great men and women who died while serving in the U.S military. I’m very proud, appreciative and eternally indebted to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our great Country.
I’m very angry however that our government has treated the ones who came back home alive, our veterans, like second class citizens and feel I speak for a lot of us when I say, “we are done allowing our veterans to be ignored and mistreated!”
We are done allowing our law enforcement officers to be disrespected and used by politicians as sacrificial pawns!
We are done being divided by the wits of the devious and wicked!
We are done being targets for terrorist!
Like the men and women we honor today, Jesus Christ also gave his life so we could live. I admit I’m often ignorant and insensitive to the constant closet immerging inequitable choices, cultures and cults. However, our Lord and Savior should never have been negotiated out of the lives of our children to make room for the beliefs of others. Yes, we are done worrying how people feel about our reverence and worship for God.
We’ve allowed ourselves to be fooled and manipulated by malicious self-serving politicians who have lined their pockets and fed their narcissistic egos by taking advantage of the honest hardworking people of this great nation long enough!
The constitution of the United States and the 10 commandments have been watered down so badly because it’s easier for the weak with reptilian tongues to justify doing what’s wrong when they know what’s right.
I’m sorry for all the negativity on this Memorial Day weekend. But I consider this a weekend to honor these courageous warriors who nobly gave their lives, by committing to protect the same values, rights and freedoms for which they died.
And one last thing, it is important that we teach our children to enjoy the game. But please do not teach them that it doesn’t matter if they win or lose. Winning is very important and it has to be taught from commencement for many reasons; but one reason in particular on this Memorial Day weekend: Your children may one day serve in the arm forces and their will to win may determine their safety as well as the safety of the people and future of United States of America.
If you can relate, please give me an Amen!
It took me 4-years to get an Iowa tag, now there was just 35-minutes left before dark on the last day of my Iowa hunt which was also the last hunt of my season, when the tall tined nine pointer stepped out of the cedars….

I chased Bone for 3-years, he was 7 1/2 when he finally made a mistake and I turned loose an arrow. But although the chase has long been over, the memory will stay alive with me until I too am laid to rest....
