This image of mine has been getting a lot of uncredited circulation on the ol' interwebs since I created it. People crop into it, or just take the signature off completely. WTF right?
I appreciate you guys tagging me or leaving comments when possible. All of this brings up an interesting discussion about artist rights, credits, use of artwork etc.
I have no managers to call about theft, no lawyers sick after people, it's just me putting my work out there. It's all on good faith that people will at least credit the artist if they want to show the art. Perhaps it's my own fault for not putting a larger, noticeable signature? Sometimes I put my site on my images, but it's funny how people like to cut that stuff out.
Oh, the plight of the visual artist these days:) What do you guys think about any of this?
