One of our December speakers, Alanna Munro, just released her first typeface called Tofino. We think it's just as beautiful as the town itself. http://tofino.losttype.com/ Link

We asked Kirby Brown "Why is CreativeMornings important?" and this was his response:
"We need a home. We meaning all of us who are honest enough to admit that we have room to grow and learn. The ones who know that we’re good at putting on a brave face despite being smart enough to know that we need help. A nudge, a push…an occasional properly frank kick in the keister. We know the world isn’t the way it ought to be. And we’re trying to do our best while making our own way through it. That gets lonely. It’s often overwhelming and, more frequently, it’s underwhelming.
So there’s this place. It doesn’t ask for our money. It doesn’t pretend that life is just another inspirational slogan brightly slammed into our square eyes by one glowing screen or another. Life isn’t a lululemon bag of platitudes. It’s real people trying their best and sharing that experience with one another in person. CreativeMornings is elegant. It wakes you up, surrounds you with a beautiful tableau of humanity with just enough awkwardness to prove that you belong. We can stand confidently amongst friends and strangers and then stretch our minds test our ideas and try something risky.
CreativeMornings is a safety net for people who know that to see something new, you have to lean way over the edge of the old."
