I'm not perfect but I choose to live a fit life. It was easier when I was 19 or 25 but time marches on for everyone. Age is not an excuse because you can always live a fit life and I can help you achieve this. 20 years of training movie stars has taught me the art of a deadline. 30 years of training myself has taught me strategy trumps willpower. My next online bootcamp starts this Monday and I want to help you transform. Are you ready?

One year ago I started posting my "Confessions of a Celebrity Trainer". I have learned so much since then!! First of all, I didn't know I was an empath or even exactly what that was until 8 months ago. It explained so much to me!! I understand myself so much better, why I'm so good at what I do and why crowds of people, or one negative person can put me flat on my back. I have decided to repost some of my original shares. When appropriate, I will comment on them. The biggest thing I learned is, I'm not alone. There are many of us empaths//introverts living in an extrovert world. However, our gifts our powerful so we cannot let the loud override the whisperers.
I prefer to whisper, that does not make me less powerful.
Here is part 2. I will circle back to part 1.
Confessions of a Celebrity Trainer- part 2
It's such a funny title "celebrity trainer". Obviously, I'm not the celebrity. I just happen to specialize in training actors, many of whom are major television or movie stars. I have also trained thousands of "regular" people. Executives, agents, moms, health care providers, teachers, entrepreneurs and so many others. In many ways, "they" really are like the rest of us. They want to eat the cookie too! The want to sleep in, they get stressed and want the bread and they have very irregular hours. However, they usually have very serious deadlines that gets them motivated. Naked, in 6 weeks. Will be shown in IMAX! That will get you to the gym at 4am!
Their stories are a little different too. Client "how was your weekend?" me, "great! I saw a movie, took the dogs to the park, went to yoga and the farmer's market, what did you do?"
Client "Oh, George Clooney had a party at his place in Italy, so I decided last minute to go". Or "I had the Oscar luncheon, an interview and a 3 fittings but I still made it to pilates!" Or, "Date night at Georgio's. Ran into Brad and Angie. That was fun." Me, thinking to myself "I gotta get out more".
Anyway, before I was able to say no to anyone, there was a period of time when the schedule went something like this: Ryan Seacrest, Jennifer Lopez, Cindy Crawford, Jim Carrey, Courtney Love, Matt Dillion, Bencio Del Torro, Charlize Theron and Reese Witherspoon. It was crazy and I needed to slow down but I also loved it and the work I was doing. And I really loved my clients.
I did stop taking new clients for a while. Eventually, there was a slight ebb when I sent some clients off to start their movies. Then one day, I was driving with my sister (who was interning for me at the time but is now super fancy and smart!) down Santa Monica Blvd. I remember it so clearly. I was really into manifesting, long before "The Secret" came out. We stopped at the intersection of Santa Monica and Wilshire Blvd. She asked, "if you could train anyone, who would it be?" I remember, I had just seen my favorite movie ever, The Matrix. My answer was, "well, it would be fun to train one of the cute boys like Brad Pitt or Billy Crudup but the person I most want to train, is Carrie Ann Moss from the Matrix. I was so impressed with her transformation and just thought she kicked as*!
Thirty minutes later, we were sitting in my office, the phone rings and Wendy (my sister) answers. She is looking at me with her mouth open and says to the caller, I will call you right back. She hangs up the phone and says "that was Carrie Ann's manager. She wants to know if you are available to train her and go to Australia with her on her next movie!" It was like from my lips to God's ears. I said yes. It was an incredible experience and I loved loved loved working with her! That movie was Red Planet. We had a blast!
A year or so later, I was offered my dream job. Go to Australia with Carrie Ann for Matrix 2 & 3. This is right when I was starting to set boundaries. It meant leaving for a year. I wanted a life in LA. I was tired of location work and I wanted a house, a dog and love. Whatever order it came in. I said no and I cried. And then God showed up and showed me why. A month or two later, I got the call that would alter the course of my life.
"Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I'm going to play a spy".
Thus began a 14 year relationship with the most amazing, beautiful, truly nice person in Hollywood. #forevergrateful #Aliasrocks #redcarpetreadybootcamp #celebritytrainer
