When I realized a few months ago that competing had taken a huge toll on my health it was hard to admit to myself I needed time away from the stage to get healthy (my metabolism, thyroid & even my mental health was begging me to stop) I worried so much about my appearance. Then I started crossfit. It's been less than 2 months but I've amazed myself at what my body can really do! I realized I AM strong, I need to eat like an athlete not a competitor, that its me vs me - no one else .... with that the stress has melted away. I woke up this morning seeing the outline of abs! I have had so much support from my husband, friends and fans! Thank you so much! Its the small victories I love to celebrate!
