Well, that’s that. We’ve played 70 gigs since releasing 'Lucky Ones' in January and now our biggest ever tour is finally finished.
Or is it? We’ll have some exciting news to share very soon…
Here is the video for PLAY DUMB, the first single from SOAPBOX. #playdumb #soapbox youtube.com/watch?v=Zmn9F9…
And whatever your results, you can always learn a couple of chords, start a band, and travel the world getting boozed with your best mates.
AMERICA. That's it: End of tour. It's with very heavy hearts that we leave you but we have had such a good time in your country, so we take a lot of happy memories with us.
30 states crossed, 10,000 miles driven, at least a dozen broken guitar strings and far, far too many slices of pizza later, we're still hungry for more and hopefully we'll be back in the Autumn. (Autumn = Fall).
Huge thanks to Geographer and their awesome crew for taking us out on the road with them. They are an inspiration to us as musicians and all truly wonderful people. We feel very lucky to have spent the last month in their company. See how happy we are all together in this pic from Philadelphia? We miss them already.
To everyone who came to see us at gigs, bought a CD or spoke to us at the merch stand after the shows: Thank you so much. In particular, the kind souls who lent us beds and floors to sleep on have been real lifesavers. It's been an honour to meet you all and we really hope we'll see you next time we come to town.
The nice people at Dr. Martens, Original Penguin EU and Realm & Empire have been keeping us in clothes and shoes on the road. We'd have got cold without 'em, so thanks, you guys.
Next, we hit Europe, so wish us luck. Let the jet lag commence...
Love, The Crookes x
