Listening to a webinar right now... hard to take the woman seriously as a strategist when she continues to say "Make it Rememberable" ... it's not even a word! I am not paying attention to the content so much as focusing on this word used over and over... and thinking .. Say "Memorable"!!! It's amazing how something simple like this can lose your listeners in a training session. Am I alone in this??? Would you be able to focus, or lose the lessons like I am?
VIP to remember about Facebook (or social media in general) is that you can’t post several times a day for a while and then ‘fall off the face of earth’ for the next 2-3 weeks. While you don’t want to spend all your time on social media, you should set a specific amount of time (10-15 minutes) that you will spend interacting each day. Make that commitment and interact! Social & Relationship Tip: When talking to your spouse and trying to make reference to the longevity of your relationship, choose your words wisely... they may come back to haunt you. For Instance... the word connection is not actually a good replacement word for relationship. Soooo... if you were to say to your spouse "After a 21 year ... (and then your mind goes blank and you cannot think of the word relationship, don't use connection) it won't go over well, trust me. I have yet to hear the end of it and I made this error on Monday! "Marco! After a 21 year...um, connection, I thought you knew me better.." "A What??? Did you say Connection?" Oh Brother... now I did it! Bond or Union might work, even marriage if you are off a year (that was my problem we are 21 years together but only 20 married so I didn't say married... marriage would have been a better choice even if it was inaccurate!. Connection apparently does not cut it. ;-) Sighhhh.. he is now having fun comparing our marriage / relationship to a LinkedIn type of Connection! I suppose the jesting will only last until I flub up the next word! :-) Moral of the story - Relationship and Connection are not always interchangeable as words.
