Tricia (right) was mourning the loss of her best friend Sweety, and we knew she needed companionship. At the same time, Queenie (left) was being pestered by some of the younger cattle in her herd. We began to notice her spending time by Tricia's fence, mooing to her. So we took a cue from Queenie and decided to see how the two would do as roommates. Success! These friends have made a huge difference in each other's lives, and we are so happy they found each other. Learn more: AnimalsofFarmSanctuary.com
The moment we've all been waiting for has arrived: Frank is home! After escaping slaughter in New York and running for his life earlier this month, a village of animal advocates — including Tracey & Jon Stewart, Mike Stura of Skylands Animal Sanctuary And Rescue, and the Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC) — stepped in to save him. After a few weeks of treatment at the Cornell University Hospital for Animals, we were recently able to welcome Frank home to Farm Sanctuary at last!
