Since history of a nation’s past is paramount to understanding its future we have somehow lost our way..Why do we play down the vital accomplishments of Canadian heroes only to be stuck with progressives and their anti-intellectual rhetoric. And I paraphrase a quote from Lt. Greg Clarke’s experience at Vimy Ridge “And there stood the Canadians (100,000 strong) from one end of the ridge to the other and I felt my first true sense of nationhood.” Its only through showing our students Canada is a nation unlike any other that we can create a strong citizenry. We need to teach a pan-Canadian history. The nation was born in the charnel houses of the Great War evidenced by the deaths of 60,000 of our bravest warriors (I don’t see much evidence of it in social justice class.Just namby-pambyism)

Annie Dithers is a shill for the teacher unions and the education clowntrust. She has as much credibility as the Denver Broncos. Nowhere does she show how value added measures are being used world wide to measure student/teacher performance.Ms.Dithers mandate from the teacher unions is to disguise any performance measures in statistical edubabble as she mentions here. Only through the implementation of schoolchoice and charter schools will Ontario's education system thrive.Watch this space for future details.
