Three years ago today we got married right here on this farm
Nine years ago we lost our jobs. Nine years ago Farmer John lost the home for his goats and showed up on our doorstep looking for new shelter. Nine years ago these three new neighbors started the journey that would become Beekman 1802. Happy Anniversary to Farmer John, the goats, and all the Beekman Neighbors around the world who are on this journey with us. Ain't none of us April Fools
Today we have a choice of looking at something ugly and letting it consume us or we can stare blindingly into something beautiful and let it fill us
There's somebody new at Beekman 1802. Meet Over
It's first day back to work after a long holiday weekend, so you NEED this picture.
All rain. No singing. RIP, Debbie & Carrie.
Because of the internet outage yesterday, the Mercantile's checkout system went down. Most stores would close, but Team Beekman Manager Bridget worried that so many neighbors drive a great distance to visit, and they shouldn't have to turn around and go home empty-handed. So...
...she decided to let everyone walk out the door with their merchandise. Without paying.
She asked for their phone number and email address, and called them once the system was back up. Of course every single neighbor was waiting for her call with their credit card in hand.
We're so proud of Team Beekman and how well they treat Beekman Neighbors. And grateful for how well Beekman Neighbors treat us. No global internet attack can take down the Beekman Neighborhood!
