When Ashesi student, Derry, learned that fufu was off the menu on campus because of a shortage in cassava supply, he felt unsettled about what this shortage, for a crop he believed was easy to grow, meant for the broader agric industry. Through Ashesi's Design Lab, he's started a model farm to test cheaper, sustainable ways for increasing agric output, which he hopes to bring to farmers across Ghana: http://bit.ly/2c9xPOC #atAshesi #AshesiStudents
Happy birthday, to our Founder and President, Patrick Awuah Jr.!
"We don’t dwell on what we have been through; our struggle, the inequality, poverty or our broken environments. We are a group that carries the ambitions of scientists, engineers, business leaders, artists, teachers, entrepreneurs, and many others. To everyone here today, the Class of 2016’s message to you is this; do not let your history determine your glory." - #Ashesi2016 Class Speaker, Festus Emmanuel Jartu, gave a remarkable speech at this year's Commencement. - http://bit.ly/28Y5CIl
